Natalie (Rachel Hendrix) is devoted to her medical practice and her future residency. When Scott (James Austin Kerr) proposes, Natalie says she can’t marry him and Scott is shocked and heartbroken. But when he is offered a position in Chicago, and leaves abruptly, Natalie is thrown into a state of confusion. Everything is falling apart.
Natalie talks to her grandmother, Mimi (Patricia French), who gives her a “magical” veil that helped her decide to marry Natalie’s grandpa. She encourages Natalie to try it on and she is immediately transported to a future time where Scott is her husband and they have two beautiful kids! Natalie is frantic! How did this happen?? Grandma Mimi tells her she “must trust the journey …”
It’s a total mystery! Ten years of Natalie’s life have whizzed by and she has no memory of any of it. As her future continues to flash before her … her attentive husband, Scott, her charming children, her successful family medical practice … her Grandmother tells her it is up to the veil as to when she will return to her former life.
Will this “dream-reveal” make Natalie realize what’s important, where she wants to be, and with whom? Her mind will tell her it was all a dream, but will her heart be wise enough to trust that dream?
The Dove Take:
