Under false pretenses, a psychologist brings three of his patients to a haunted house in order to study the effect of terror on them. (These people are having trouble sleeping, so this kook brings them to a house that comes alive. Oh, that should put him in good with the AMA.) The house is possessed by the souls of children lured to the estate by the owner, who then murdered them. Even in death, he will not let their souls rest. One of the visitors is sensitive to the supernatural atmosphere. After discovering the children's' plight, she attempts to set their spirits to rest, at the risk of her own life.
