Map Of The World

Synopsis
A rural Wisconsin community doesn’t quite know what to make of Alice Goodwin, an outspoken wife with a droll perspective on human nature. Her life becomes one challenge after another when a friend’s daughter drowns while under Alice’s care. Alice, a grade school nurse, is then accused of child molestation by a disturbed child and his drug-addicted mother. She is arrested and put in jail until her husband can raise bail, by selling off the farm. It is a film showing how a nonreligious person copes with life’s crises.
