Kids and Animals: A Healing Partnership
"Kids and Animals" is a one-hour special that takes us on an emotional journey as we explore the healing bonds formed between children and animals, the results of which can be a divine mystery. The viewers will meet some amazing children who face extreme challenges in their lives - Cerebral Palsy, paralysis, Downs syndrome and even kids who come from places where guns keep them up at night. Viewers will be moved as a diverse group of animals who have challenges of their own take on the role of therapist in the lives of these children. The stories of these kids and animals are followed as it is revealed how they become an integral part of each other's lives. They ride a river of trust and hope that delivers a powerful healing exchange.
