Some made-for-TV movies are meant to teach, propagandize, knock your socks off with dynamic drama, or simply to fill a two-hour prime time slot. But every once in awhile, a film is designed to whisk the audience back in time. With an engaging and nostalgic script, plus agreeable performances from a nice bunch of actors, ABC has a winner with this delightful reunion show. We remember the Seavers family as decent people who displayed devotion to family and regard for their fellow man. This two-hour reunion does not disappoint. It’s a feel-good movie that reminds viewers that, once upon a time, TV families loved one another.
