Synopsis

Inspired by the extraordinary true story of a brilliant young master of deception and the FBI agent hot on his trail, Catch Me If You Can stars Oscar nominee Leonardo DiCaprio and two-time Academy Award winner Tom Hanks in one of the year’s most acclaimed hits! The film follows Frank W. Abagnale, Jr. as he successfully passes himself off as a pilot, a lawyer and a doctor – all before his 21st birthday!

Dove Review

This is a fabulous edited version of a good film that in its original format contained too much language and some sexual content. All that has been edited out and we are left with a wonderful true story film of the adventures of Frank W. Abagnale, Jr. It is amazing what he does and how he does it. While he is breaking the law and he knows it, he had a warped sense of how bad the government was because of what they did to his dad. He was determined to make it right and too “get it all back”. This well acted, directed and produced film will have you rooting for Frank Abagnale, but will the FBI agent catch him and force him to pay his debt to society? If you like Spielberg, Hanks or DeCaprio, you will enjoy this film. I found the character of Frank Abagnale, Sr., played by Christopher Walken to be very interesting. He is constantly upbeat and positive even though life has given him a rough road to follow.
