The subtitle for the DVD says “Proof God has a sense of humor.” Indeed He does and Pastor Greg delivers some funny circumstances that we all can relate to in our everyday lives. Greg puts a funny spin on concepts like how do other people view me; fearing change; trying to make a good first impression; and many more common occurrences.
While not as fast paced as network sitcoms, this Christian sitcom offers many positive things. First there are not any of the usual sexual innuendos or foul language. There are not “adult” situations other than common situations that we find ourselves faced with everyday. This is very lighthearted, but at the same time, very relevant to today’s Christian audience.
Studies show that Christian and non Christian entertainment choices are about the same. There is no difference between the two, but there should be, and Greg Robbins offers in Pastor Greg a huge difference because there are life situations in his pilot premiere episode that everybody faces and he presents them in comedic fashion. In addition to the pilot episode, this DVD offers some tremendous special features.
