The charming Boyd Bears introduce kids to five elements in a good lunch: bread, peanut butter, apple juice, string cheese and carrots. Each of these is thoroughly explained in an age appropriate manner, whether it’s harvesting or manufacturing the item. Watching the process of wheat being harvested, and then the loaves being shaped, baked, and packaged was interesting to me. The bears, along with good music, move things along at a good pace for children’s viewing. When they get to the last item, they make it very clear that “Carrots help you to see better!” This video is especially recommended for picky eaters.
