Dove Review

I recall the original version of “City Slickers,” and it was refreshing to watch this edited version and not have to listen to any of the potty mouth in the 1991 production, along with gross bathroom humor which was also present in the unedited version. Billy Crystal not only did a good acting job, but was the producer as well of this funny but thought-provoking movie. These three men are true blue buddies and they’ve all got strengths and weaknesses that counter- balance in their triad relationship. After being out on the range for two weeks, each man returns home with a fresh perspective on his life and family. There are tender, touching moments and some very funny situations that make this a fun viewing for a family with teen aged children.
