Under The Tuscan Sun – Edited

From the studio that brought you Sweet Home Alabama comes the extraordinary romantic comedy starring Academy Award nominee Diane Lane. Based on the best-selling book, Under The Tuscan Sun follows San Francisco writer Fances Mayes (Lane) to Italy as a good friend offers her a special gift - ten days in Tuscany. Once there, she is captivated by its beauty and warmth, and impulsively buys an aging, but very charming villa. Fully embracing new friends and local color, she finds herself immersed in a life-changing adventure filled with enough enexpected surprises, laughter, friendship and romance to restore her new home - and her belief in second chances.

Dove Review

I didn’t think I was going to like this film at first, but the more I watched the more I liked it. After the heartache of a divorce, Frances finds herself in a foreign country that she finds beautiful, exciting and maybe good enough for a fresh start at life. She discovers many wonderful things in making the villa, she impulsively purchased, into the home she always wanted. She finds friends, laughter, romance and contentment, things she had thought she might never find again. The setting of this film is beautiful and I found Diane Lane very charming. If you like romantic comedies, you will warm up to “Under The Tuscan Sun.”
