13 Going on 30 – Edited

Jenna is a good girl on the verge of becoming a teenager in 1987. She invites the popular kids to her 13th birthday party. Her best friend and next door neighbor, Matt, comes to the party and embarrasses her when he gives her a "Jenna Dream House" that he made himself by hand. With some wishing dust that was part of Matt's present, Jenna is magically transported to her life only when she is 30 years old. She finally gets all of the things that she thought were important: beauty, success, and popularity. Adult Jenna realizes that her life isn't what it's cracked up to be. She seeks out her childhood friend Matt and hopes that he can help her set things back in time and turn her life to the way she wants it to be.

Dove Review

I really enjoyed this movie. It reminds me when I was a younger teenager, and it kind of has a nostalgic feel to it. Girls of any age can relate to it because it’s the classic story of wanting something bigger and better for yourself, but then after you have it you realize that it wasn’t really what you needed. Jennifer Garner plays the role of “a girl stuck in a woman’s body” role magnificently. Her voice and her body movements are perfect and the rest of the cast really shines as well. All in all, it was a really great movie, and it was able to be approved based on all of the editing.
