First of all, I hope that this film really wasn’t intended to be a horror flick. There was not one moment in the entire, endless 87 minutes of blood, cursing and brainless writing was I scared or even felt any suspense. This movie served more as a spoof comedy mocking itself than keeping the frightfulness of Chucky, which they kept in the first films. No need for Seed of Chucky to show up in “Scary Movie 4”; since there is no more mockery to be done. There were a few funny parts, which were actually intended to be that way.
As expected, this film is nowhere near the universe of a Dove approved film. This movie should keep the makers of fake blood in business for at least the next year and a half. There were over fifty curse words; even the original name of Glen in the movie was “S___ Head”. The writers decided not only to include a nude woman, but also doll nudity (Tiffany reveals herself to Chucky). Also, Jennifer Tilly wears a cleavage-revealing outfit the entire movie. Not only would I not recommend this movie for children or families, I would not recommend this film to anyone who is a movie fanatic. Seed of Chucky should be buried in the dirt and never watered.
