Dove Review

This was a really touching movie. Hilary Duff is living a good life. She is in high school. She loves music. And she has a great voice. She applied to the best summer program on the West Coast for music. Her father won’t let her go but her brother knows that she needs to. She and her brother, who just graduated, are closer than close and for a present she takes him to their favorite band’s concert. They sneak out and on they way home they are hit by an oncoming car and both are sent to the hospital. Hilary survives but her brother dies and she is never the same. She doesn’t want to sing anymore. But when she gets accepted to the summer program her mom convinces her to go and she sneaks away from her dad and her house to try to rekindle her talent and her confidence.
