Dove Review

The only real difference between the edited version of The House of Flying Daggers and the original is that the edited version is dubbed into English so you can listen to it instead of having to read it. Another change is that during the fight scenes you do not see the swords, daggers, knives, arrows, or sharp pieces of a tree that actually impale the people. You only see these objects heading for the people. You know that they die, but nothing graphic is shown. The rest of the movie is really good. The girl, Mei, has to choose between a new love and an old flame, but eventually the story ends in tragedy.
