Dove Review

The three short stories in this introductory DVD are all well done. Each vignette touches on a parable of Jesus from the Bible. In “Buen Vecino” no one will help a young man fix a pool pump and the owner of the hotel is about to make an appearance. Finally, a maid at the hotel helps him solve the problem. “Buried Talent” deals with a man who commissions three artists to paint a picture for his wife for their twelfth anniversary. Two of the artists do a very good job but one artist leaves a blank canvas as fear hinders him from even attempting to paint. Finally, in “Found,” we find that a lost object is more important to a homeless man than any of the little and few treasures he owns. These short stories are well acted and really a make a point in a short amount of time.
