Dove Review

These two episodes of “Puppet Parade” are in a word…unique. There is no doubt that the producers and actors have big hearts and a passion for kids, but this obviously low-budget program isn’t exactly captivating. There were many great ideas such as songs, puppets, stories and special guest musicians, but after repeated attempts, I was not able to keep my kids interested at all.

The wonderful lessons about tithing, using your talents and sharing Jesus with others are right on, but just not real interesting. One red flag that I saw was that the “sinner’s prayer” was offered to any potential young viewers. It’s just something to be aware of if your child is unfamiliar with what salvation is really all about. So, in the end, Puppet Parade is definitely approved by Dove for family viewing.
