Totally Trucks Presents: Metal Monsters

Metal Monsters takes kids to a scrap yard and an auto wrecker. They’ll love seeing forklifts smash cars and count them as they go into the crusher. Kids will learn how things that break are recycled into new things that they use everyday. But who’s thinking about learning when there is so much fun to be had?

Each Totally Trucks(TM) episode uses trucks to teach a skill – spelling, counting and shape identification. But Kids don’t even think they are learning, they are just having fun.

Dove Review

“Totally Trucks” Is a great series of videos for entertaining your children. Both of my children ages 2 and 5 loved the “Metal Monsters”, being able to see all the trucks up close and how they work really kept them interested. They learned the names of many different trucks and how they are used. The video also incorporated counting, which helped the children get involved in the video and helps them practice their numbers. The music was appropriate and very enjoyable and allowed the children to dance with the video.

The video is great for young children, however I could see older children and adults getting a little bored with them as they do have a lot of repetition, which is wonderful for the younger viewers as it helps them learn. The producers of this video did a great job of making a wholesome child-oriented film that not only entertains young children but also helps them learn about different trucks and counting.
