Synopsis

Louis Pasteur set out to solve some of the greatest medical mysteries of all time. Having lost three daughters to disease, he was determined to solve the unknowns of the source and prevention of disease. As other scientists laughed at Pasteur and mocked his ideas, he continued to prevail in his experiments with animals, resulting in the world’s first human vaccination.

Dove Review

This thirty minute animated episode about Louis Pasteur chronicles his path to discovering human vaccines. The story is inspirational in how Pasteur rises above personal illness to fulfill his goal of curing illness in an effort to further peace. The story is very interesting and left me wanting to learn more information about Pasteur.

There is very little objectionable material in this episode. There is a lot of discussion about the death of animals as well as the non-graphic depiction of dead animals as well. We approve this wholesome family film for all ages.
