Synopsis

Making sense of the world takes a basic understanding of predictable daily routines. In this fun, educational and interactive episode, Elizabeth and her music class sing and demonstrate everyday routines like cleaning up, going to sleep and staying safe. Through songs, quizzes and real world imagery, young viewers of all developmental levels can learn how to predict, comprehend and carry out daily routines.

These important lessons are taught by music therapist Elizabeth Balzano and her bouncy, lovable friend Balloo. Through original songs and fun activities specially designed by veteran entertainment producers under the guidance of child development and autism consultants, children learn to explore emotions while singing, dancing and having fun. Contains a DVD and a CD.

Dove Review

This “Routines” DVD is a wonderful learning tool for preschool-aged children, containing a lot of wonderful singing and repetition, which is great for children to learn from. Your child will learn all about saying hello and morning routines, cleaning up, as well as stop look and listen, safety and good-night routines. Your child will learn that It is good to have routines throughout the day and that some routines, such as safety routines of stopping, looking and listening are good for keeping you safe. All of this is done in a fun way which includes music, and with a great interactive “Bounce Quiz” game.

We award our Dove Seal to this family DVD and it will be sure to keep your child’s attention while teaching him/her all about routines that are done throughout the day.
