The Hey Girls make a secret project to help Holly's mom and Aunt Jesse gather sap for the family's famous maple syrup recipe. When they spill the precious sap, rather that tell the adults, Holly and her friends Amy and Carrie find themselves in a frightful situation - gathering sap in a scary dark forest. In the end Holly learns a few important things about secrets - like when you should keep them and when you shouldn't.
