Synopsis

Convicted embezzler Witt Hampton escapes from prison and while hiding out in an isolated country barn is discovered by young Cassy and her brother Jack. After convincing them he’s a friendly ghost that only they can see, the three new friends embark on one imaginative adventure after another until, inspired by their innocent spirits, Witt vows to redeem his crimes. But a by-the-book sheriff, who has sworn to personally put Hampton back behind bars, is closing in, and Witt may never get the chance to finally set things right.

Dove Review

This is a great film in that it shows many great character traits in the various roles. Two small children and their mother are learning to cope with the death of their much-loved father / husband. The girl creates an imaginary friend who ends up showing himself to her as a real escaped convict. The film shows how unconditional love is very important and how this convict, who is not dangerous, helps bring happiness and love back into a hurting family. This film is filled will entertainment, great acting, and many valuable lessons for the family. This film is awarded the Dove Seal as a family-friendly film.
