Computers are sure a lot smaller today than they were in 1969! This it the period in which the film’s story line takes place, and the computer of that day was a behemoth. Kurt Russell is in fine teenage form as Dexter, the student leader at his college, who has the computer’s memory zapped into his brain due to a voltage overload. Russell does a fine job in playing the computer-like Dexter, complete with speaking intelligently and clearly while giving out hard to vocalize facts on a college competition show.
The film is rated G and is wholesome for the most part. However, Dexter studies some notes in one scene while driving and certainly that behavior should not be encouraged. There are some minor incidents listed below but this is one the entire family can enjoy and Dove approves it for all ages.
