Lisa wants her intended, Bobby, to be saved. Bobby’s background includes drug use and stealing from his mother’s purse. A deaconess warns Lisa to be careful what she prays for. Sure enough, some time later Bobby does become a Christian. But his zeal is so strong that Lisa doesn’t know how to deal with it. Bobby witnesses everywhere he goes and he undergoes a major lifestyle change. Lisa now feels number two to God and she has to decide if she still wants to marry Bobby, or if a change in plans is what she needs. The decision becomes a crucial one when Bobby feels called into the ministry.
This is a fine spiritually based film and it includes good performances from the two leads. Although an exemplary film in many respects, its mature subject matter regarding sex deems that we award it our seal for ages twelve and above.
