Dove Review

The Cat in the Hat speaks directly to the children in TV Land as he invites them to join him in exploring the worlds of art and family. The three episodes on this DVD capture viewers of all ages right from the start with colorful scenery and fun, fun, fun! Art is the focus in the first episode (“The Cat in the Cat’s House”) and kids are taught that anyone can be creative and that art is much more than paint and paper. The rest of the DVD checks out different families in Seussland and what it looks like when we get way too busy!!

This is a great DVD, not only for kids, but for the adults in the family as well. Of course, the puppetry and stories are geared toward children, but some of the lessons are perfect for the big kids as well!! “The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss: The Cat’s Colorful World” is crisp, clean and clever, and easily earns The Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for family friendly viewing!
