Synopsis

Watch out! With an out-of-control Mr Toad’s taste for fast cars, rip-roaring adventures is just around the corner!

When Mr. Toad careens towards the riverbank, that wild, road-hogging frog nearly has a major tumble. But Mr. Toad can only dodge trouble for so long before the law parks him in jail, leaving his beloved mansion to be crashed by stoats and weasels!

Now it’s down to Mr Toad’s long-suffering friends-Mole, Ratty, and Badger – to out fox the furry intruders, while their slippery soul mate hatches a magnificent plan to escape!

Dove Review

A very sophisticated tale of friends in the animal world. It is spring and Mr. Mole goes on an adventure instead of doing his spring cleaning. The trip leads him in a unexpected direction. He meets new friends and along the way learns some valuable lessons. But his friend Mr. Toad does some very objectionable things, such as stealing cars and breaking out of jail, making the viewer wonder if he learns any lesons.

This movie based on a classic novel for children is Dove approved but in the 12+ age group due to the use of guns and swords in one scene and the subject of stealing.
