Leslie Clyde Onstott (Marion Ross) is a wealthy, widowed woman living alone in the small town of Harmony, Texas. She has trouble seeing, she is physically unstable and those who care for her are worried. Since she has no ‘known’ next of kin, they are talking about placing her in a home. Richie Greene (Frank Whaley) is involved with a loan shark to the tune of $10,000.00 and he wants his money NOW!! The loan shark is on his way to Richie’s house when Richie gets a phone call from Texas. Come to find out, he’s the only living relative of “Clyde” Onstott and he’s asked to come live with and care for Clyde. With the loan shark dismantling his home, he takes off to Harmony.
Once there, Richie discovers unconditional love and family are far more important than the money he came Harmony to pilfer from his grandmother. This is a wonderful family movie with great values to learn. The little town of Harmony Texas makes the viewer feel “at home” and the all-star cast lend their talent to the charm. “Where There’s A Will” is awarded four Doves and our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal.
