Synopsis

The gang has found building blocks featuring the alphabet. Wanting to play a game using the blocks, Barney suggests finding animals to match each letter. As they move from ants to gophers, iguanas to whales – even finding matches for the ever-elusive Q, X, and Z (quails, x-ray fish, and zebras, in case you were stumped) – the two fold lesson is both entertaining and educational as each animal is introduced with a description of its characteristics, physical attributes, habitats and more.

Dove Review

Barney and his friends go through the alphabet trying to find an animal to match each letter. Barney and friends see many different animals in lots of great places. Visit a petting zoo, the jungle, a circus, a farm and more! Children will really enjoy all of the great animal songs while learning the alphabet and lots of fun animal facts. A wide variety of animals both wild and domestic are shown in all different kinds of environments.
