“Lassie: A Mother’s Love” is a series of five thirty-minute television shows. It started with a story about Jeff, his mother and grandpa and Lassie. In this part it shows the compassion and caring that Lassie and Jeff have for themselves, the family and the farm and animals. This helps children to see that even kids on television have chores and do their schoolwork before going to play.
The next story is about Timmy, his mother and father and Lassie. This shows how Timmy had trained Lassie to help when someone was in trouble and Lassie goes to the farm to get Timmy’s help. It was really nice to see family friendly television and wholesome language. This program shows very strong life lessons. The entire series is centered on the family farm. This television series has been awarded the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal.
