Dove Review

This DVD contains two great episodes of “Mustard Pancakes”: “Dear Diary” and “Scaredy Dog”. These star the delightful Courtney Campbell, the talented singer/guitarist who used to open for John Denver years ago. She sings in both programs. In the first episode, “Dear Diary”, Oogleberry loses his diary and when his friends find out, they are tempted to read it.

In the second show, “Scaredy Dog” Mo is afraid of the dark and Courtney and the gang decide to help her one step at a time, by first allowing her to sleep with a dim light on, and then a night light, and finally with all the lights out.

These programs always teach a lesson in addition to entertaining the viewer with delightful and memorable characters such as Mr. D, Tiny Tina, Mo and Ooggleberry. The songs are written by Courtney Campbell herself who always seems to come up with a tune which is perfect for the theme of the show. This wholesome show is happily awarded our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal. These characters will delight children of all ages.
