Dove Review

Bibleman is THE man! He fights for truth and he uses a light sword while doing so. The theme of this particular episode is that if you skimp on your time with God, your spiritual life will suffer. When Bibleman is given the “germ of disobedience” his friends become determined to help find out why he is not acting like himself. Bibleman actually becomes grumpy in this episode although he denies being so. The germ of disobedience confuses Bibleman who has a hard time keeping scriptures straight but all is solved by story’s end. Willie Aames does a superb job in playing BibleMan as a serious hero but with dashes of camp here and there. For those who recall, the show might remind you of the 60s “Batman” TV series.

At any rate, this DVD features great costumes and a nice light sword battle. Most importantly, it focuses on the truth of the scriptures and doing the right things when confronted with choices. Bibleman is a hero for today! We gladly award this DVD our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal.
