Dove Review

“Black Beauty Season 2” is an extension of the series from the 70s about the astonishing stallion Black Beauty and the Gordon family. The British countryside in the early 1900s is the setting of this classic saga where Black Beauty seems to always come to the rescue whenever trouble arises for Dr. Gordon and his family or neighbors.

You can guarantee that the bad guys will be caught, that good will triumph over evil and the horse is a hero in some way and every episode has a happy ending. There are some colorful characters that come to the countryside from time to time to stir things up or create unforeseen problems. Each episode contains a situation where Black Beauty, Dr. Gordon and the Gordon children, are involved is some way.

Dove awards this series our “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages. This series may have been made in the early seventies but it will remain a classic for all times.
