Synopsis

The Indestructible Book is a three-part DVD series that retraces the path of God’s Word from Mt. Sinai to Plymouth Rock. Filmed on location in Israel, Europe, Britain, and the United States, this family documentary series captures incredible stories of faith and sacrifice. Meet the scholars, teachers, and missionaries who were inspired by God to protect the Bible and carry its message of hope and salvation through the centuries.

The Indestructible Book consists of five programs on three DVDs packaged together in a boxed set. With over four hours of fascinating information, join commentator and Bible scholar Ken Connolly, as he brings to life the stories of those who dared to read and share the Word of God. With visual images as rich as the stories themselves, be reminded that God’s truth cannot be crushed and share in the mission of the Apostles, crusaders, translators, reformers, preachers, and printers dedicated to spreading the Gospel of the indestructible Bible.

Dove Review

This fantastic three-disc set is hosted by the knowledgeable Ken Connolly, who covers almost every topic imaginable from the Bible, including the oral and written history of the Bible, the martyrs, Greek and Roman influences, the papacy, evangelizing, political themes of England, Ireland and Israel, and much more. He looks at legends of the past including John Wycliffe and various artistic renderings of scripture are used as well. There is sure to be something for everyone in this series.

The youth might find parts of the historical narrative to be slow going but we are recommending this informative series for the entire family, and we gladly award it five Doves, our highest rating.
