Synopsis

Two competing groups of high school students must rally together and enter a song and dance competition in order to save their local church from closing.

When Zachery’s family has to move, he must leave his friends and his church choir, which has qualified for the state championships, behind. At first he feels out of place in his new school, but things begin to look up when he starts to make friends and is invited to join the local choir. His old friends question his loyalty, but when their church is faced with a struggle to keep it’s doors open, Zachary knows that he can find a way to bring everyone together and help his friends to realize their dreams.

Dove Review

Musicals are a great way to tell a story and the feelings of a character. This is aimed toward the teens but everyone will enjoy as they watch two groups of kids as they come together for one cause. Change is always hard for teenagers and sometimes new friends have more in common than they first think.

These talented kids come together to save one church and improve another’s choir. It is a movie about friendship, talent, and having faith that things can work out. I have always loved musicals and this is a fantastic one for the entire family. We proudly award “Sunday School Musical” the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.
