Synopsis

“Sue Thomas: F. B. Eye,” is an original drama, and is inspired by the true story of Sue Thomas, a profoundly deaf girl from the age of 18 months, who is about to start her first real job – which happens to be with the F. B. I. Using her unique lip-reading ability, Sue becomes the secret weapon of the bureau’s elite surveillance team, making new friends and acquaintances, while also having to prove herself to the skeptics who think she doesn’t belong there. And then there’s the handsome, All-American FBI agent Jack Hudson providing romantic sparks… All of this as Sue and her “partner in crime” – her hearing dog, Levi – pursue cases ranging from bank robbery to white collar crime to terrorism. Sue and Levi are suddenly “G-men,” caught up in a good deal more action than they ever bargained for. But what they lack in experience, they more than make up for in spirit and enthusiasm.

Dove Review

This is the second season of Sue Thomas, continuing the story of this remarkable woman and her hearing dog, Levi. As part of the team of agents, she helps with investigations of terrorist activities, kidnapping, and illegal deals of drugs and weapons. Along the way the viewer also learns about relationships between these FBI agents and those they know outside of the bureau.

As in the previous season the stories deal with issues that the F.B.I contends with every day. Issues of terrorism, gangs, mobsters, con men and shootings to name a few. The delight of this show is that it portrays the intense situations of these agents’ lives without the offensive graphic scenes that we see in so many of the criminal stories shown on TV today.

It is truly a very entertaining series the can be watched by the entire family. Although some of the topics may be too much for very young children, the stories are always done very tastefully. Also there are some personal lessons taught in each episode about friendships, relationships and personal feelings. We are proud to award the 2nd season of “Sue Thomas F. B. Eye” with our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.
