Here’s a charming story about growing up, family and friendship. Junior is a dreamer of new ways to do things but his father wants him to go with traditions. So they are not getting along very well. But when the trolls steal the food, Junior steps up and along with his friend finds a way to become the Gnome that his father wants him to be but also he finds a way to be himself.

The tale is cute and many lessons are taught in this story about growing up, being responsible and having courage plus change and learning new things are good. There are some scenes that may be scary for younger children. We award this DVD the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for 12 and older.
