This is a cute little story that proves that there is no such thing as the perfect child or the perfect family. Can you imagine receiving a child that you just add water to, and then you now have a “perfect” eight year old child in your family? That is what happens to Berti when she gets a delivery that is truly unexpected. Konrad, Berti and Mr. Thomas learn some important lessons along the way about what makes a family, that life doesn’t always go according to plan and that accidents are what keeps life from being perfect.
