Wheel of Knowing: A story of Hope

Melanie has life all figured out. She knows she can conquer any challenge as the perfect Christian wife and mother. Against the advice of her family, Melanie brings her Alzheimer’s inflicted father, Sam, into her home. Although she’s certain she can help, Sam’s delusions and disruptions start to unravel Melanie’s “perfect” life.

In her attempt to reach Sam, Melanie fails to notice her own family falling apart. Caught between countless obstacles and Sam’s relentless needs, she begins to feel as lost as her father.
Stretched to the brink, Melanie must find a salvation that is beyond her own understanding, something that might be locked in Sam’s broken mind and something that must be revealed by God.

We award our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for ages twelve and up to this wonderful DVD.

Dove Review

This is a look at a woman’s life as she tries to take care of her father after her mother passes away. Little does she know about the challenges that will face her because her father has Alzheimer’s. The story shows the effect that it has not only on Melanie but her entire family. As she comes to face the reality that her father was not as perfect in her life as she had believed, she also realizes that some of the other things in her life are not what they seem to be.

Taking care of an elderly family member is not always as easy as one might think. This movie shows some of the lessons that may appear as one takes on this task. Here is a film that is truely about the love for family and the faith along with strength it takes to care for a family member with this infliction. We award this film the Dove “Family-Approved” 12+ Seal.
