“The Phoenix and the Carpet” is a charming tale of mystery, adventure and fantasy as four siblings discover a magical carpet that comes with a whimsical talking bird, the Phoenix. Their wish is for “something to happen” … and happen it does! With a little prodding from the Phoenix, the children climb aboard the carpet for tropical islands, treasure hunts and more excitement than they bargained for. The siblings stick together while dealing with the excitement of soaring over rooftops, encountering island natives and using up their allotment of daily wishes.

This film does feature several minor childish scuffles and name calling, otherworld talking creatures, fantasy magic and a small amount of mild language. We are however pleased to give a 12+ approval rating for this delightful family adventure film.
