Franklin and his compadres, Beaver and Bear, come into our home with a variety of holiday adventures, including a toy drive, school play, cookie baking, a birthday party and hockey games to name a few! Franklin and his friends learn that gift giving is not just in what the gift consists of, but what is behind the giving and this happens when the local fire department holds their local holiday toy drive for town residents who won’t have a gift at Christmas without the generosity of others.

Franklin is later delighted to be given a part in the school play, but struggles with stage fright. His friends gather around to help him do his best in spite of his fears. A hockey game presents another opportunity to make the feelings of others more of a priority than just winning the game. Friendships are tested between the closest of friends when honesty and fairness are needed in difficult situations.

These and many other adventures bring the opportunity of lessons to learn for Franklin and company! Children will enjoy following along and celebrating the holiday season with their favorite little green turtle and his friends!
