Dove Review
This DVD is grounded in reality and will speak to pastors and churches everywhere. It has something worthwhile to say.
However, it should be noted that the DVD includes some very intense scenes. It is about a pastor, Pastor Sean, who becomes very discouraged and steps down from his pastorate after he tells his congregation that he no longer believes in God. However, the people love him and attempt to go the extra mile to give him a second chance. One of Pastor Sean’s problems is that his wife leaves him and begins a relationship with another man. However, Pastor Sam later realizes that he wasn’t the kind of husband he should have been. Preston Long is terrific as the vitriolic Pastor Sean.
We wish to note that Pastor Sean, after much soul searching, returns to a relationship with the Lord in the end although we won’t give the details away. This film can be very helpful to someone who is struggling with his faith. We are pleased to award this DVD our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal and recommend it for ages twelve plus.
