Synopsis

Sparky is a high-spirited sports car who is sick of his boring life. He wants to hit the highway and explore the world, but first he needs a GPS. In order to make money to purchase one, Sparky takes a series of jobs that just don’t seem to pan out. When he finds himself working at Diesel’s Greasy Springs Circus—a shady operation where cars are pitted against each other in dangerous contests—Sparky ends up racing for his life. Hang on tight as Sparky tries to survive this wild ride!

Dove Review

The animation is terrific in this DVD. The cars each have unique personalities and the various characters include Fender, who runs the “Gas N Go”, his son Sparky and daughter Gracie, the scheming female car Diesel, Zipper who likes Speedy, and several others.

A lot of the plot centers around Sparky, who disagrees with his father a lot and has to learn the hard way. Sparky is disrespectful several times in the film but he finally sees that his dad deserves more credit for his warnings than Sparky first realized. Diesel plots to turn every advantage her way and she has her designs on Fender’s gas station. She is not above using watered-down gas and ripping off Sparky’s pay when he comes to work for her. Will she ever be caught and stopped?

The DVD shows kids that parents know what they are talking about. We are awarding this DVD our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal. You will find that a car’s life isn’t easy but sometimes can be a lot of fun.
