This film showcases loyalty in marriage and family and is worthy of watching if for no more reasons than these.
The plot begins in 1902 and is an old-time western with some drinking and smoking and even features the claim jumpers using dynamite. There are several intense scenes featuring shooting but relatively little blood. A few corpses on the ground are seen. There is also the scene of a six-year-old child who is shot as she surprises a man and although it happens on-screen the shot is brief and no blood is seen until some is viewed on the child’s arm later after she has passed on.
Due to its worthy themes we are recommending this DVD for ages twelve and above. For a reminder of family loyalty, this is one worth seeing and we award it our Dove Seal.
