Everyone loves the circus and a lot of people are going to love this movie. We see what it’s like behind the scenes when a young lady, Sophie, joins the circus so she can keep a close eye on Sheba, her former pet elephant, which her parents sold when they hit a financial wall. The owner, Alistair Winston (John Rhys-Davies), hopes the new elephant act will increase interest in his faltering circus but Sophie doesn’t like how the elephant’s trainer treats Sheba.
The plot thickens when Sophie meets a young aerial expert, Blake, who refuses to fly on the ropes with his former partner Natalia (Erica Durance) since he once dropped her during a performance. Sophie and Blake fall for each other and it might be Sophie’s faith in him that gets Blake back up into the air.
The characters are well rounded and the story is strong and we gladly recommend it and are happy to bestow our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal on the movie.
