In the continuing saga of the “Love’s” series Clark and Ellen face the financial challenges surrounding a drought on their farm. Clark’s father and mother come for a visit to find that Ellen has taken a job at the local tailor’s shop to help ends meet. When Ellen is stricken with Scarlet Fever, Clark must find a way to pay the bank loan without her help or the necessary water to farm his crops.
As in all of the previous films, the story centers around a family and their friends who come together to overcome immense odds by persevering through faith and trust in God. Each episode clearly and profoundly shows how we will always have what we need if God is in our lives.
