This movie features the spirit of Christmas in a warm and wonderful contemporary setting. It will give the viewer the “warm fuzzies”.
Annie Claus, the daughter of Santa and the Mrs., throws mistletoe at a spinning globe and it lands on L.A. It is decided that this is where she needs to go for an adventure before returning to take a larger role in Santa’s workshop.
While she’s gone, an elf named Chester plots to take over Santa’s workshop. He to distract Annie with a man while she is in L.A. so he can complete his devious plan. Annie works for a man named Ted to improve his toy shop and she manages to restore the spirit of Christmas in him. She also restores the holiday spirit to various people at the Candy Cane Motel where she stays.
The movie features nice themes of being true to one’s heart, of keeping hope alive and the importance of the Christmas spirit. We are pleased to award five Doves to this festive film and recommend it for all ages although it may be a bit slow for very young viewers. This one will raise your spirits!
