Here is a different version of Cinderella unlike any you have ever seen! Based on the old west, the wild old west, Cinderella is an antelope that stands on two legs. She has an evil step-mother and two evil step-sisters that are all dogs (literally). The evil step-mother owns the town and she is searching for suitors for her two “beautiful” (written loosely here) daughters.
The prince is coming to town with his mother, the Duchess, as he wants to see the old west. The mother has her daughters in mind but he winds up meeting Cinderella at the ball. Little Cloud is Cinderella’s fairy god-mother who uses (cartoon) magic to help Cinderella transform into a beautiful antelope. Naturally the prince (a dog) falls in love with her. During a fight with the step-mother and others Cinderella’s tooth is knocked out and the tooth is basically the “glass slipper” in this story.
The Animation is terrific in this movie and we are pleased to award it our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for ages twelve plus, due to a strong utterance of language and the violence level hitting a two, although it is probably fine for many kids eight and up.
