This story brings attention to the dangers of texting while walking and driving along with a lot of other good lessons. It is a short tale of one boy who did not pay attention to anything around him because he was so caught up in texting. He also did not have time to listen to his mother or watch out for the things around him. Then one day he learns a valuable lesson when he and another collide due to texting. This event takes him on a journey that shows him the way home.

“Geronimo” is an interesting way to get the point across regarding texting at inappropriate times and what one may miss. It also is a story of paying attention, telling people that you love them, counting to ten when you are scared and listening to others.
