This movie is comical and serious all wrapped into one. Desiree thinks she has it all until the walls of her life come tumbling down. When her husband misses their anniversary she finds herself all alone. Little does she know how alone until he tells her he is leaving her for someone else. Not only does she lose her husband but Desiree finds that her so-called high society friends are too busy for her now. When a turn of events happens, the only place left for her is back in New Jersey with her Dad and his bakery. There Desiree discovers many things about herself and that the things she thought were important are not what she really needs. This new side of her brings confidence and a new lease on “The Sweeter side of Life”.

Life is not always easy and things can change. This film shows that sometimes your “good life” is not always the best for you. Also that there is no place like home when things get rough and going back may give you a new perspective for your life.
