This is a collection of four classic comedy movies from many years ago. The collection has two DVDs, each contain two movies. One DVD has two movies from the 1940s, “Li’l Abner” and “Private Snuffy Smith”. These two movies are in black and white. They are the filled with the slapstick comedy of that era.
“Li’l Abner” take you to the hills where the girls want their man and everyone wants Abner. The event of the year is Sadie Hawkin’s day where the girls get to catch their “man. If they accomplish the feat they sill marry the man of their dreams. In “Private Snuffy”, Snuffy is a “moonshiner” but to get away from revenuers he joins the army. The humor is that of the age as Snuffy adds his own tactics in the army. The other DVD contains “Hillbillies in a Haunted House” and “Las Vegas Hillbillies”. These movies are in color and are from the 1966/67 era. With Ferlin Husky as a country entertainer in both movies there is plenty of singing and comedy.
