While You Were Sleeping – Edited

Lucy Moderatz, a charming but shy token seller, spends her evenings home alone with her cat and her holidays working for the Chicago Transit Authority. She has neither family nor boyfriend to keep her company. But she does have a secret crush—sexy Peter Callaghan, a regular customer who never gives her a second glance. One day, Peter is mugged on the subway platform and falls in front of an oncoming train. The courageous Lucy jumps down onto the tracks and pushes him to safety, but the ordeal leaves Peter in a deep coma. Lucy remains at his side in the hospital until his family arrives. At this point a confused nurse, who misunderstood one of Lucy's comments, informs the Callaghans that Lucy is Peter's fiancée. Lucy just can't manage to set them straight. But now she's beginning to fall in love with Peter's handsome and kind brother, Jack, and has one big problem—what will happen when Peter wakes up?

Dove Review

This was a really cute movie. Sandra Bullock plays a lonely woman in the city with a crush. One day she sees her crush get knocked out, and she ends up pretending that she is his girlfriend in the hospital. That causes a lot of trouble with the man’s family and the people that she knows. But in the end Peter wakes up and they fall in love. There are hardly any objectionable elements in this movie. Sandra Bullock’s character lies and tricks people into thinking she is someone that she is not, but there is no sex (except a brief kiss), no language, no violence (except when Peter gets mugged), no drugs, or nudity. All in all, “While You Were Sleeping” is a wholesome movie that is fun for all ages.
